UVA / Hathi Trust
In June of 2016, John Unsworth was appointed Dean of Libraries, University Librarian, and Professor of English at the University of Virginia. From 2012 to 2016, John served as Vice-Provost for Library and Technology Services and Chief Information Officer at Brandeis University, where he was also University Librarian and Professor of English. Before joining Brandeis University, John was Dean of the Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS) at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign from 2003 to 2012. From 1993-2003, he served as the first Director of the Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities, and as a faculty member in the English Department, at the University of Virginia.
Robert Gordon University & GeoScienceWorld
Paul Cleverley is an Associate Lecturer at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland. He is a Geoscientist by background turned Information Scientist, holding a BSc in Geology, MSc in Computer Science and a PhD in Enterprise Search & Discovery. Paul has worked in the International Oil & Gas Exploration industry for over 25 years around digital transformation. Paul is the researcher-at-large on the Board of GeoscienceWorld a non-profit cooperative of academic publishers, regularly publishes peer reviewed academic research papers on information science and technology, as well as being a reviewer for several journals.
Code Ocean
Pierre leads sales and business development for Code Ocean, a cloud-based computational reproducibility platform that provides researchers and developers easier ways to share, discover and run code published in academic journals and conferences. Prior to Code Ocean, Pierre was the director of sales at Squid Solutions, a usage analytics company that enables publishers to become more data-driven by providing an open-source solution for building analytics apps. He has held both product marketing and sales leadership positions with some of the world’s leading scientific and education publishing companies including Pearson, McGraw-Hill and Cambridge University Press.
XSB / SWISS
Tatyana Vidrevich, as Chief Operating Officer at XSB, is responsible for the technical direction of the company and for developing strategies for XSB’s Master Data File and SWISS products. SWISS is used to apply model-based engineering approach to complex document-based requirements. Tatyana has served as Principal Investigator on multiple Research & Development grants funded by the National Science Foundation and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, has authored two patents and is a past recipient of Federal Computer Week’s prestigious Rising Star Award.
